Giving is Awesome…… it is a wonderful program that I am proud to take part in this year.  Please read the details below to see how you can help give a deserving family the chance to win this incredible gift.  Details below:

In this struggling economy today,  chances are  you know someone. You know someone who’s experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty.
You know someone. I guarantee it.
I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography — $2,300 worth, to be exact. I want to give them a fun family photo session experience and will include a disc of all images from their session with a print release, and also the entire set of proofs as 4×5’s in a beautiful leather album.

Oh, and the best part? The person who nominates the winner receives a $300 print credit  to use toward a future session with Jessica’s Visions. What better reason to show some love could there possibly be?
The rules:
* You may not nominate yourself, and the person you are nomintaing must sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services. (Being unable to make mortgage payments for a two-million-dollar-vacation-home in Paris does not qualify as sincere financial need.)
* The nominee must reside in or near Redding, California.   The session will take place in Redding.  So,  tell me who you know,  what they’re experiencing, and why they deserve my artwork. Please include a way to contact both your nominee and yourself as well.

Annie + Tim

Another stunning wedding to post here…this time it is Annie & Tim, a fabulous couple whom were married at the Heaven’s Peak Resort in West Glacier, Montana.

I am so glad I got the chance to be there to capture the laughter, the love and even though a storm blew through and changed

a lot of things for them, they kept smiling and danced the night away! :)

Seniors ~ Redding California Portrait Photographer

I’ve been meaning to post these for a while now….Earlier this month I went back up to Montana to photograph a wedding and several portraits.  The last day I was up there we did a senior session for 3 girls who have been the best of friends for quite some time now.

We ended up having such a blast, did we girls??? You girls had lots of wonderful ideas and even though we didn’t get the rain, we still ended up with some amazing photos…(trust me!)

Breanna + Zach ~ Redding California Wedding Photographer

I am so happy to finally be able to share some photos from the exquisite wedding for Breanna & Zach at the beautiful Flathead Lake Lodge in Bigfork, Montana. My good friend and fellow photographer Jill Tagliareni came along with us. We had a blast!!!

B & Z, thank you so much for allowing us to capture these moments of your life together. What a celebration it was and an honor to be there for both your wedding and the special vow renewal of your parents as well.

They met each other before the ceremony, and this was their first glance.

And they surprised Breanna’s mom with a special vow renewal service immediately after the ceremony.  It was a beautiful surprise!

The details were just so fabulous, I had a difficult time choosing which ones to post so I chose to post more than usual this time.

Her calligraphic artist was her maid of honor.  She designed the logo for Breanna and Zach’s special day, along with the table numbers and name cards.    She does amazing work.

On a personal note, we have finally found a home here in Redding and will be moving over the weekend.

I apologize in advance for all the delays lately, but all orders, galleries, blog posts & emails will be delayed by at least 1-2  weeks more.

After we get settled in, I expect to be back in the FULL swing of things and I will be able to get things done MUCH quicker.

Busy Busy…Redding, California Portrait Photographer

Wow I have LOTS of photos that I haven’t even shared here, but I thought I might play a little catch -up for now….

First off…My sweet little baby girl turned 3 last weekend so I am posting a few pictures of her:

She is in a total Dora The Explorer phase right now…so I just had to get her a Dora cake.

She was SOOO thrilled and had so much fun!!!

and now a few snapshots of some standout mount prints

and now on to this little cutie bug whom I have been photographing since he was just a few weeks old….Now he just turned ONE last month!!! He was so funny to watch.   He DESTROYED his cake!!!! Seriously the biggest mess any one yr old has ever made with his cake, all the while he was laughing with his little “evil genius” laugh that I can still hear!! :)  He is such a handsome little dude!!

and my FAVORITE of the day…He was trying to share some cake with me..

he needed a bath after THAT mess!!! HA! I LOVE this tub!  I love when little ones splash in the water…..makes for some great photos! :)

Jackie + Dan

So, first, I am sorry to disappear on everyone! The busy wedding/Summer season is in full swing and I have been trying to do my best just to keep up!!!

I have many images to post, but tonight I am posting the beautiful wedding of Jackie & Dan! This couple was so in love with each other which is always a good thing, right?? Dan couldn’t keep his eyes off of her and he just totally beamed everytime he looked at her. Here is a sneak peek for now…..

The event took place at the Swan River Inn in Bigfork, Montana.

I love these next few “silly” photos.  They were so much fun.

Getting Married

This awesome couple will be getting married in September this year!  (Can’t wait!!!)  We recently shot their engagement session in Glacier National Park.  We had a a great time waiting for the sun to set.

A Rodeo Princess and Her Family

This STUNNING  young girl is not only beautiful,  but she is a Rodeo Princess.  We had so much fun during her senior session at one of my favorite locations.  “C’s” family came along for a few family portraits and they were brave enough to withstand the crazy wind we had that day!    I know “C” and her mom are dying to see a few from the session, so here is sneak peek for them!

Catchin Up~ El Dorado Hills, Folsom California Photographer

Wow! It looks like I have a ton of catching up to do here!! Things have been unbelievably busy lately and I have not been able to find the time to blog in a while. I will get caught up soon though, I promise.
Here are some recent sneak peeks that I know these two moms are anxious to see!
